Technical description

This conversion of a robust classic greenhouse system into an aesthetic glass wall with an industrial character uses large sliding doors to reduce or enlarge the space in just minutes.

Context

Old industrial buildings demand a tailored design. Gafpa architects are creative when dealing with the simplicity and honesty of the materials; the result is the focus. The industrial look of a greenhouse wall in untreated aluminium preserves the character and spatial feel of the structure.

The finished project delivers a box within a box. The result of this energy efficient scheme is that only the meeting room requires heating. The observant viewer will notice that a glass greenhouse roof was specified to complete the enclosure.
